The HoT Lunch Club recently celebrated its first birthday. Guests enjoyed a party with games, cake and party bags. Our guests enjoy meeting other people, having a home-cooked lunch and getting out of the house each week.

Delighted to announce Heart of Tamworth won the Service to Tamworth award at the recent Spirit of Tamworth event hosted by Tamworth Round Table. This award recognises the huge contribution made by our volunteers. Thanks to all of them for all they do to support people in the local community.

Over 80 people completed a Firewalk challenge at the weekend to raise funds for Heart of Tamworth. Each participant was sponsored to undertake a barefoot, five-metre walk across glowing embers which can reach a temperature of around 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. The youngest firewalker was aged eleven, with the oldest being a fantastic ninety-two years young. […]

Work has begun on the new HoT Shop which will stock not only food but also good quality used clothing, children’s books and educational toys.
