Our HoTLine has become part of the Tamworth Self Isolation Support Group Partnership
– working with organisations like Community Together and Homestart, Foodbank and supported by the Council. It makes sense to work together and pool resources. The base is now at Sacred Heart and it has been boosted by volunteers from our community – as well as by lots of food given by you, our parishioners. Simon Peaple also continues to bring in lots of food from different outlets.
But while it is coming in fast it is also going out quickly – to people who need it.
So far there have been:
Calls – 498
Befriending Requests from 101 people
Emergency Food Supplies to 87 people/families
Co-op Referrals – 76
County Council Referrals – 33
New Volunteers Recruited – 60
Thank-you for all you have given time, prayers food. Any further food donations can come to Sacred Heart or a Foodbank collection point.
