Just as the Foodbanks seem to get busier so the demand for Christmas hampers remains popular.
It is a shame that it’s necessary but good that people want to help. Please pray for families struggling this Christmas. Our 30 hampers are bulging as a result of so many donations, including from St Elizabeth’s, St Gabriel’s and Glascote Heath schools. Businesses have also been very generous. Our thanks to all the packers and deliverers too. The hampers look fine don’t they? They’re just waiting for the chicken to go on top.
That reminds me, I just ordered a chicken and an egg off Amazon – to see which one comes first.
