Singing for the Mind is a new group that has started in partnership with Community Together. Alex Parker is leading it with songs that evoke fond memories for all taking part. The pictures will tell you more.

46 Families being supported with hampers this Christmas. These are going out before Christmas to help people struggling at this time of the year. Thank-you to all for the donations and help in providing these. Please pray for any families for whom Christmas can seem like an even more painful time because of their circumstances.

On Sunday, we had our first Children’s Christmas party. Over 100 came and enjoyed games, a visit from Santa, great food and dancing. People also brought presents for children in need. These will be distributed soon. Well done, and thank-you to the Wilson’s and all for arranging a superb event – as usual.

Because of it’s great success the Memory Café is moving! From Tuesday, 9th January 2018 it will relocate to a bigger room at Sacred Heart. It will be at the same time of 10.30am – 12.30pm, offering a friendly place where people with memory loss and carers can come together in a safe and supportive environment. […]

The Apple Festival was great fun. Thousands of apples came in and hundreds of pies, crumbles, toffee apples, cakes and sauces were made. We also made nearly 150 bottles of apple juice.
