The Apple Festival was great fun. Thousands of apples came in and hundreds of pies, crumbles, toffee apples, cakes and sauces were made. We also made nearly 150 bottles of apple juice.
Further juice was made by children on the Biker Juicer! It was great fun and a lovely way to celebrate the harvest. We got support from Santander Bank and HSBC as well as George Perry Fruits. That means that the £900 we made on the day could double to £1800. Thank-you to those companies, to all who brought in apples and the many who turned them into something lovely to eat or drink.
